If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the tool. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of any updates to these terms.

The Seven Roots Consulting website provides marketing content about our fractional CIO and senior technology leadership services. The M&A technology integration playbook tool generates a structured 100-day technology integration plan tailored to the deal profile you provide. The tool offers a free preview and a paid full version delivered as a one-time purchase.
03AI disclaimer
Both the free preview and the full paid playbook are generated by artificial intelligence (Claude, by Anthropic) and do not constitute professional technology consulting, legal, financial, or business advice. The output is intended as a starting point for your own decision-making and integration planning, not a substitute for human judgment, qualified counsel, or hands-on technology leadership. Seven Roots Consulting makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for any actions taken based on the playbook output.
04No account required
You do not need to create an account to use the marketing site or to generate a free preview. The paid playbook is identified solely by the Stripe checkout session associated with your purchase. Your access is delivered through the post-purchase confirmation email and through your browser's local session, not through a username or password.
05Free preview
The playbook tool generates a free preview consisting of an executive summary, integration context, and the two most critical workstreams for your deal. The preview requires no payment, no payment method, and no email address. The preview is generated fresh each time and is not stored on our servers.
06One-time purchases
The full industry-tailored playbook is available as a one-time purchase for $99 USD per playbook. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no ongoing commitment. Each purchase unlocks one playbook generation tied to the intake answers you submitted before checkout.
07Payment processing
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By purchasing, you agree to Stripe's terms and privacy policy. We do not store your full payment card details; we receive only your email address, the Stripe checkout session identifier, and the payment status. You are responsible for keeping your payment method current.
08Refunds
Because the playbook is generated and delivered immediately on payment, all sales are final. We do not issue refunds for buyer's remorse or unused output. We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate charges for the same playbook generation
- Documented billing errors
- Failure of our service to deliver a generated playbook within a reasonable timeframe after a successful payment
To request a refund under these circumstances, email us at playbooks@sevenrootsconsulting.com with your Stripe receipt within fourteen (14) days of purchase.
09Price changes
We may change the price of the playbook at any time. Price changes apply only to future purchases; they do not retroactively affect playbooks you have already paid for.
10Taxes
The stated price is exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any sales, use, VAT, or similar taxes applicable to your purchase, except for taxes based on our net income. Where required, we may collect and remit such taxes on your behalf.
11Chargebacks and disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us at playbooks@sevenrootsconsulting.com before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer. We will work in good faith to resolve billing issues directly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in a permanent bar on future purchases.
12Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site or the tool. This includes, without limitation:
- Automated scraping or data extraction from the marketing site, the playbook tool, or any underlying API
- Submitting intentionally misleading, harmful, or unlawful content through the intake form
- Attempting to reverse-engineer or interfere with the site's or tool's infrastructure
- Using a generated playbook to mislead third parties about the source or nature of the advice
13Intellectual property
The Seven Roots Consulting name, branding, the playbook tool's design, and the prompts and structures used to produce playbooks are the property of Seven Roots Consulting LLC. You retain all rights to the deal information you submit through the intake form. The generated playbook is licensed to you for your internal business use, including sharing with your team, advisors, and board. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly publish the playbook without written permission.
14Limitation of liability
The site and the playbook tool are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Seven Roots Consulting LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or the tool, or from reliance on any generated playbook. This includes, without limitation, damages resulting from business decisions made based on AI-generated content.
15Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the site or the playbook tool at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may discontinue use of the site or the tool at any time by ceasing to access it. Termination for cause, including violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or abusive chargeback behavior, does not entitle you to a refund of any prior purchase.
16Modifications to terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the site or the tool after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
17Governing law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wisconsin.
