Accessibility statement
Last updated: 2026-05-03
Seven Roots Consulting LLC is committed to making sevenrootsconsulting.com and heartwood.sevenrootsconsulting.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of running a credible business, not as a checkbox.
Standard we work toward
We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. WCAG 2.1 AA is widely recognized as the practical bar for accessible web content and is referenced by U.S. federal accessibility regulations.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML and clear heading structure so screen readers can navigate the site.
- Provide visible focus indicators for keyboard users.
- Maintain sufficient color contrast for body text and interactive elements.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images; mark decorative images so assistive technology can skip them.
- Label all form fields and surface validation errors in a way that screen readers can announce.
- Honor the operating system's "reduce motion" preference.
- Test changes with automated accessibility tools and manual keyboard navigation before publishing.
Known gaps
We do not yet have a formal third-party audit on file. We are working through the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria internally and updating pages as we go. If you encounter something that does not work for you, please tell us using the contact information below. Reports from real users are the most useful signal we get.
Contact and feedback
If you encounter a barrier on this site or need an accommodation to access information or services, please reach out:
- Email: matthew.smith@sevenrootsconsulting.com
- Subject line: Accessibility feedback
We aim to respond within two business days. If your request is time-sensitive, please say so in the subject line and we will prioritize it.
Third-party content
Some pages reference third-party platforms (analytics, fonts, embedded forms). We choose vendors with accessibility commitments where we can, but we do not control their interfaces directly. If a specific third-party element is blocking you, let us know and we will work to find an accessible path or alternate route to the same information.
Legal note
This statement reflects our current effort and standards. It is not a representation that every page meets WCAG 2.1 AA at every moment, but it is a commitment to work toward that bar and to fix issues we are made aware of.
